これまでのリリースすべて

何が、いつ出たかの正直な記録。マーケティング言葉はなし。新しいものが上です。

  • PLAYBACK Fixed some minor issues regarding playback introduced in yesterdays update.
  • TRANSLATION Added missing strings from recent update.

New AutoEQ Based Headphone Correction

  • TONE Equalizer received a new headphone model selection (completely optional). Features over 6000 measurements and multiple response curve targets to choose.
  • TONE When correction is active a new line is drawn on the precision graph showing you the adjustments made to reach the target.
  • TONE The Equalizer Curve is now displayed for all three EQ modes
  • TRANSLATION Added missing translation for the new EQ modes added recently
  • TRANSLATION Added translation for "Settings" window title.
  • METADATA Fixed Cover, Comment, Lyric, BPM and Compilation tag read/write across all popular formats

Improved M3U Import Reliability

  • Improved M3U playlist imports for files with absolute paths, Unicode characters, and umlauts in filenames.
  • Added multi-step filesystem path recovery: exact path, standardized path, NFC/NFD Unicode normalization variants, etc.
  • Improved support for playlists from other apps by accepting UTF-8, UTF-16 LE/BE, UTF-16, and Latin-1 encoded M3U files.
  • Fixed file:// playlist entries with encoded characters such as %23 so filenames are not accidentally treated as URL fragments.
  • Fixed BOM-prefixed M3U lines that could cause the first path to fail resolution.
  • Preserved M3U track order more reliably during import, including duplicate entries and partially unresolved playlists.

Better Compilation support

  • Fixed the Compilation metadata flag not being persisted correctly when editing track details.
  • Compilation albums now group more reliably as a single album instead of splitting by each contributing track artist.
  • Album grid now displays Various Artists for compilation albums when no explicit album artist is available.
  • The preferred method is to set the "Album Artist" to "Various Artists" on compilations for automatic grouping.

CORE Fixed three bugs that could surface when switching modes or after device changes: a reset device buffer, a swallowed buffer-size write, and a double-recovery race.

  • NETWORK Fixed a problem with lossy network streams: MP3 and AAC ICY streams play reliably again.
  • FILES Tracks with umlauts in their path now load reliably on normalization-sensitive volumes (pCloud, SMB, exFAT).
  • FILES Fixed "handle file drop". Files dragged to played comes without a source and would refuse to play. Fixed. We accept them now.
  • Tracks New option in "Source" select in the Tracks Filter bar: "without source" surfaces tracks that were added without a source (dropped, double click from finder, etc).

HOTFIX - For Japanese and Korean users

The languages "日本語" and "한국어" had some problem during import with how I combine text for display. A rare edge case, but if you were affected, my apologies.

Introducing: Album Crates

Get organized. Album Crates let you collect albums into custom sidebar groups - perfect for moods, genres, scenes, listening projects, or anything that does not fit into a traditional playlist. Albums can be added via drag and drop from the Home screen, Artist Detail view, Album Detail view, or through the context menu.

  • ALBUMS Added Album Crates. Create new crates and organize albums via drag and drop or the context menu.

  • CORE Fixed a potential audio initialization issue that could prevent tracks from playing until the application was restarted.

Multi-Language Update

ZENTEEK now supports multiple languages:

  • Spanish (Latinoamérica, es-419)
  • Spanish (España, es-ES)

  • MCP HELPER The optional AI integration layer has been cleaned up and made more robust. If this is the first time you hear about it: MCP means "model-context-protocol" and allows you to provide data to AI chat tools like RayCast or Claude Desktop so you can chat about your library, ask questions, evaluate stats, generate playlists, etc. If you use any of these tools personally, check "Help" menu for a one-click setup.
  • METADATA Album Detection has been improved and is now using the full Musicbrainz catalog. That also means better track-credit display and exploration graph.

HOTFIX Display Info about unknown Albums ("no profile for ...") was a bit spammy since the last patch. Removed.

  • PLAYLISTS Fixed M3U import issues with international file paths (Cyrillic, Greek, Czech, etc.)
  • METADATA Reduced the number of remote lookup calls and improved album data.

New EQ Models, Curve Display and an improved DSP grouping

We have reached version 1.4.5. First two weeks after going public are over. I am very grateful for everyones feedback and kind words. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much!

  • DSP Main effect panels have been restructured into 4 distinct sections: Tone, Character, Enhancements and Environment.
  • DSP Tape Saturation and PreAmp Saturation have been moved into the new "Character" section to better reflect their sound-coloring role.
  • EQUALIZER The original Equalizer panel is now called "Tone". The classic PEQ10 is now called Precision and gained two new modes: Musical and Vintage.
  • TONE Precision EQ gained configurable Q-Factor support (new!) and all values can now be scrubbed for smooth fine-tuning.
  • TONE Precision EQ now features a live response curve display. While editing the PEQ, the target frequency is highlighted on hover and during adjustment.
  • TONE New "Musical" mode adds broad analog-style tone shaping with Baxandall shelves, vocal presence push and classic Pultec-inspired body curves.
  • TONE New "Vintage" mode introduces passive hi-fi voicing with tape-style bass bump, resonant warmth and subtle analog-aging behavior.
  • BUGFIX When playing hi-res material in shared-audio mode a format detection mismatch caused gapless to fail, so the transport loaded the next track too early. The problem has been fixed.
  • ROUTING WiiM gained a stream format selector. Choose between MP3, AAC or FLAC.
  • NETWORK FLAC is now available a raw network stream.
  • ALBUMS Support for multiple quality versions. New selector will appear if you have different formats or versions of a single album.
  • ALBUMS Compilations and related Artists were not properly linked and therefore had no Profile page or functioning View-Artist destination. Fixed.
  • SOURCES Added manual sync button to all sources. This function needed to be easier to reach.
  • SOURCES Zenteek now detects the protocol nature and decides the best/recommended auto-scanning behavior for a smoother experience. Some remote protocols (AFP/SMB,etc) are best to be indexed manually only.
  • ALBUMS Fix for compilation detection for Albums > Release Type (select) > "Compilation".

1.4.0 - Introducing Output Routing (BETA)

A new continuous audio transport system for remote playback.
